Anderson Silva has only a few fights left on his contract and seems to be running out of opponents to fight at middleweight. Many think that he should try his luck at the more competitive light-heavyweight division, but before that happens, he needs to fight fellow pound-for-pound candidate and welterweight superstar Georges St-Pierre. Whoever wins this superfight will only further cement his place among the greatest of all time.

We also witnessed the demise of Royce Gracie and traditional Gi-based Jiu-Jitsu as an effective fighting style in Mixed Martial Arts.
Yesterday I managed to get a hold of AKA's Mike "Quick" Swick, who has already begun his tear at welterweight with big wins over Marcus Davis and Jonathon Goulet. Mike sat down and answered some questions relating to his upcoming fight at UFC 99: The Comeback, his future, MMA, and life in general.
Is it just me, or did it look like Marcelo didn't even bother preventing Braulio from securing the triangle-choke? Very reminiscent of Mousasi's submission victory over Denis Kang. What do you think?
