So, for the first time, my interest may be peaking in lifting like you three and the other occasional guy (Bas :p) for strength and strength alone for the time being.

Since I'm retarded and don't know how to set up or interpret which set of bands to buy, I think I shall go with chains. Has anyone ever used chains for their bench or squat here?

If so, hook a brother up with some advice. 200-400 lb bench so apparently I need the set of 40-50 lbs of chain. Judging by the template, I want to lift 50% of my max + chain weight for 8 sets of 2 reps? Is that right? If not, what should I do?

Prolly going to buy some chains and maybe boards as well for lockout powahhz but wanted to see if I'm on the right direction here. And yes, I've been reading stuff on this for the last two hours.

I've always thought accommodating resistance type stuff is useful for developing lockout strength or training for gear, other than that I don't get the hype. It's probably good to be drilling technique like that too I suppose.

Then again, some people swear by it so I don't know.

I think the westside type stuff is just a Max effort + dynamic effort day which is structured kinda like you said. A ton of sets of doubles/triples with 50% + resistance. Probably best not to over think it.
