I'd like to see him back. I'd like to see who they'd match him up with in his first fight back, probably someone like Grove. I think that would be an interesting match
Dana White is still interested in Nick Diaz (http://mmajunkie.com/news/19339/ufc-president-dana-white-still-interested-in-strikeforces-nick-diaz.mma)
"I like Nick Diaz, and I've talked to Nick Diaz many times about coming back to the UFC," White said at UFC Fan Expo 2010.
"He's a real fighter; he's a tough guy," White said. "He's one of the best guys in the world at that weight division."
"I get along very well with his brother, Nate, so we'll see what happens with Nick," White said. "I'm interested in Nick. ...We'll see what happens."

I love how Dana uses Nick as an example of why he cut Daley saying he doesn't want guys like that in the UFC and then goes and tries to hire Nick.
Also tehre seems to be some weird stuff going on between Cesar Gracies camp and Strikeforce not the pretty realtionship it used to be.

I wouldn't mind it, how about Swick for his first fight back if he were to come back?

Why Swick? Wouldn't Nick just beat the piss out of him? I would say Diego, but only if he can get back to his old self.

The UFC shunned Nick for something didn't they?? Also, doesn't Nick hate the UFC as much as Frank??

To justify bringing him back I think they would have to toss him in with someone a little higher ranked off the get go, I'd like to see him up against Swick or maybe Hardy.

I have a feeling Diego will go back down to Lw but if he stays at WW, what makes him higher ranked then Swick right now? I could see Diaz wanting Diego instead though since he probably wants that rematch.
Screw Swick ! Put him there with GSP or Alves !

Also he has been saying that he wants to fight GSP he can't do that at MW.
He also fought Zaromskis before Sakurai. Plus he fought at Catchweight and not at MW before that. He just fought Middleweight. Damn I just realized that this mofo is only 26 yo.

I haven't been paying attention to be honest. I just remember him fighting Smith and Shamrock recently and haven't really paid attention to the weight class of his last two fights

as a big fan of diaz, i want to see him fighting the top WW, would like to see him back in the ufc, although there are still some fights i want to see him have in SF and dream first.

I'd like him to stay in SF just to help out that org, but the lack of real worthy tests for him is a concern. There is only really one fight i'd like to see him in (in strikeforce) and thats woodley, but that fights still aways away, or at least should be.

I agree don't mind him in SF to help them grow to be more legit problem is there really aren't any fights for him. For that reason alone I'd love to see him in the UFC, he is a much better fighter than when he left the UFC. I can def see him making waves in the WW division, not going to claim he will be champ but I think him against GSP would be a fun fight.

No shit. Top fiver at least, then a title shot next fight if he wins.
I love watching Diaz fight, but i think he gets smashed by the top echelon at WW.

If Nick came to the UFC he'd want (and deserve) a top 5 guy. Only person i'd say he'd fight not in the top 5 at WW would be Sanchez just to avenge that loss.

Paulo Thiago vs Nick would be fun for the next titleshot or winner Fitch / Alves. Sign him now Dana! :)

I'd love to see him fight Sanchez again, it would be a great first fight back in the UFC.

I wouldn't actually mind seeing him back in the UFC, there starting to run out of title fights at WW and Diaz/GSP would offer something new and different...I dont think he'd win but the trash before the fight would be entertaining.

You're lucky you're in Australia, otherwise you'd get hurt in some backalley by the diaz mofos ! :smash:
LOL..
There realistically is no chance of him beating any of the top guys in the UFC, and he has always reminded me of 'white trash' type of guy with no respect for anyone, or anything..

He is respectful. The objective of his game is to get under your skin and it works.
When he whooped Franks ass, the moment the fight was called he helped him up. Did the same to Sakurai last weekend. Even went as far to raise his with his.
Not that I'm a big fan or anything but I don't mind him or the way he acts before he fights.
