Here we go with our 4th Edition of the SOTW GFX competition.

Previous Winner's:

Registration begins............NOW.

DO NOT SUBMIT any work before 4/15/09, or I'll delete your post.

This edition will run until April 17th, and the voting will be up the 18th and 19th. Then, a new thread will be up, so on & so forth for each week. Simple enough.

yeah I'll join up again this week. This time i will make sure to turn it on time. I will submit it sometime before Thursday night because i'm heading to Montreal Friday.

So the only stipulation is the size and at least part of it has to be in black and white?

See in this sig, Brock is actually a black and white render that I have colored green with diffrent layering and brush work. Would this be acceptable or does it have to be left black and white/

I have dibs on Joe Daddy. I'm half way done with it. I think this one has the most layers out of any sig i've done. You guys know how that is.

toxic....lets say you have a black and white render ok if you want you can put lets say blue scan lines over the BW render but i have to be able to tell that the render is BW... you get what im saying? IF you wanna use colored brushes over you BW render make sure if doesnt over power it and take away the noticeability of it being B&W

this would be acceptable because the render is BW and hasnt been changed, just slight color over it

The forum screws up the color of the splatter which really sucks. It's supposed to be a little more transparent.

Hey thanks man that means alot coming from you. I also don't like the text. It doesn't stand out enough and looks out of place and doesn;t really flow that well. It was really killing me while i when put it in. I was tempted to just leave it without text, but was not sure of rules. I also should have left out my Username, but it's kind of a habbit. Maybe i'll mess with the text some more tonight before i head out tomorrow.

Of course Pearce has to come out with another great sig thats about as close to perfection as they come.
