Shamrock got $370,000 not including win bonus? That's more than the top UFC guys make.

Thanks for posting this Aaron, I was actually very curious about what Strikeforce paid it's fighters and was hoping someone would post it.

I am not surprised that Shamrock made what he did, he is a huge draw in the Bay Area and he really knows how to sell a fight. he is the poster boy for the organization after all. Diaz should have made more money, but then again SF doesn't have the deep pockets that the UFC has and unlike organizations like Affliction, they are not willing to go broke paying fighters. From what I have heard SF turns a profit on every show that they do, hence the reason they have been around as long as they have, while alot of other promotions fail after just a few events.

I can see why; I really like Strikeforce events. They just have a great atmosphere and fighters with a lot of personality, which they nurture instead of covering up and dropping like the ufc does.

Damn, Diaz made peanuts. I bet after this contract is up, he'll be asking a lot more than that.

yea, i agree that diaz should've made more. i really liked this past event, strikeforce is a legit organization and i'm glad that dana doesn't have a personal vendetta against them. they put solid cards together and they do have a decent amount of legit fighters. it would be pretty sweet if tito signed with them.

Frank doesn't deserve that kind of dough.

Interesting payouts. I wonder what kind of coin a Tito and Babalu would make if they keep this rivalry going with the possibility of a ppv title fight?

Sucks that Rogers made more than Diaz since Diaz had to be a much bigger draw but overall it looks about right...aside from Frankie getting so much that is

I don't get it, why is it ok that they didn't even pay 2 guys 1k, UFC had done this they would have been crucified.

Yeah, dude got like $900 to get knocked out. That's not worth that.

Well Diaz got kind of screwed here. Obviously Shamrocks gonna get a good pay day because he's a big draw, but i would say Diaz is a draw thats worth much more then he got here.

Also the guys that didn't even make 1k got really robbed.

Well for the people who were paid crap, they did absolutely nothing to add to the card, and were given the opportunity to do something great and make it on TV.

I'm not saying that I think it is a fair figure, but for a fighter with few opportunities, $1k to fight in a big arena for a big card might look pretty inviting. A way to get your foot in the door if you will.

I thought the pay outs were pretty decent... for a company like Strikeforce. Except Frank got too much, and the last 2 fighters didn't even make a 1k each was pretty bad.

I hope Hitomi got a nice hand out backstage otherwise she got mugged off with that ammount for fighting someone 20lbs bigger than her.

Frank was way over paid, does he bring in enough fans to warrent it? Probably not after getting pwnd two fights in a row.

Anyone making less than two grand needs to ask for some more, they should probably just mug Shammy, he wouldn't put up much of a fight.

I don't want to hear anyone bitch about what the UFC pays there fighters now.
