Check out this page:

They've got a broad selection. The safest way to ensure that the jersey is 100% legit is to order it from the club page though.

Yeah Ibrahimovic being out is a bit of a blow for you guys, how worried are ya about Inter winning? there peaking right now and have the easier run in...whoever wins this game for me will be crowned champions.

Couldn't ask for a better scenario for drama though.

Q_F
04-01-2011, 03:48 PM
I am pretty worried but i'm very happy with Milan being at 1st to begin with, didn't expect it at all pre-season. Ibra hasn't scored a lot lately, but still had 5-6 assists, plus that he always has two dudes marking him which gives some space to other players.

Don't know if they winner of the derby wins the league. Milan will be up 5 points, so i guess you can make the argument for them, but Inter would only be 1 p up, which is nothing really.

Yeah the 1 pts thing I wouldn't normally jump all over....but Inter have a much easier run in than you guys so I see AC dropping points more so than Inter.

Add in the fact that those guys have beat ya 4 out of the last 5 times and well it should worry ya.:thumb5:

Ah, stop hating on Milan, we're gonna whoop that ass. E-thug, i know that Inter have a lighter schedule but they tend to drop games every now and then, while Milan normally crush cans easily.

Also, that derby-stat is a bit unfair considering that Inter bought so much quality players the last few seasons they eventually won a CL. It's first now Milan have a comparable squad.

Anyone else catch the Napoli-Lazio game? It was pure awesome, the club presidents had a fist fight earlier this weak lol, which created a frantic atmosphere, and the game ended 4-3 to Napoli. Serie A is the most entertaining league in the world IMO, PL is better in terms of quality but it has been lacking in pure entertainment lately (IMO at least) and La Liga is just boring. Ya guys really outplayed them, I think you look like a much better team without Ibra in the line up, no target man so ya moved the ball around much more in the last 3rd which was the key to ya victory.

Anyay back on topic. the winner of the EPL this year will be a comparatively weaker side than previous years. The trend will continue as well as players won't want to pay the UK taxes and most top clubs here are stricken with debt.

I thought we were the better team for the first 15 or 20mins but after the goal, we never looked like we would get back into it. I'm not even convinced it was a free kick which lead to the goal, Young seems to go down very easily. Having said that Villa deserved the three points. It's just frustrating to see such weakened team fielded, we needed Ben Arfa, Ameobi, Best, Tiote, Nolan and Gosling. I couldn't understand playing Colocinni in midfield!!

Jack
04-10-2011, 01:27 PM
Yeah the goal was probably against the run of play but after that you just never looked like scoring, even when you had little spells of possession.

It was a foul, nothing huge but certainly not worse than numerous other little fouls given at every ground week in week out. Bent was onside when he had that goal ruled out anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

It's still crazy how close the league is. If we win next week we could theoretically go ninth.

They were definitely trying to force it. A couple of those I have seen given though. The first Bale dive made me embarrassed though. He had clearly skinned the full back and then went leg hunting to fall over.

I did think we deserved a goal last night. Had we not got destroyed in the first leg that could have been a very different game last night.

Still QF for our first run in the champions league is something to be proud off. Now we have to make sure we qualify again.

We were away so that was West Ham fans missing. Kind of funny as they're supposed to be getting a new, bigger stadium soon.

I'm glad Real won because it makes the Champions League meetings between the two sides even more interesting. I caught their 1-1 draw and thought that Real looked better than Barca did. I get that Messi is good. Listening to commentators fellating everything he does for 90 minutes really pises me of though.

Townsend giving him all the credit for that first goal, and saying Affelay's run and cross was just "decent" (which is what pretty much made the goal), was ridiculous. The worst thing is, Messi isn't the kind of player to take full credit for everything, you can tell by how he celebrates goals, so I don't know why they insist on trying to label every little touch as genius.

That said, the second goal was pretty orgasmic.

FunkYou

That first goal was a tap in well taken that any decent forward should take (even Pavyluchenko would get it 5/10 times). The cross made it.

The second goal he I can't work out if he did something amazing or if every defender forgot how to tackle.

The sending off definitely changed the game though.

It's not Giggs, it's just because there's no really decent-good local teams to support (or at least not until recently) so people follow the teams that win stuff. Man U have fans everywhere like that.

The period you mention is when he was at his peak scoring wise. Since then he dropped off the goals, but still an unbelievable passer. He still has games where I'm completely in awe (sorry Jack) but I am. Like against Newcastle earlier this season, I was absolutely beaming through the whole game, I challenge people to find me a midfield performance as good as that one, this season. There were less of these performances this year, mind.

2006/2007 was one of his greatest seasons. That's the year we got the title back from Chelsea. Scholes was beautiful that year, I've bought tons of games from that season and he's magic in loads of them.

EDIT: Performances just as good that season, as any.

VdV has been a shadow of his self in the second half of the season. First half he was the best player in the Premiership. He made Crouch look like a legitimate goal threat.

Second half he has been great at times, merely good at others and down right poor the majority of the time.

There's no spark in the team any more and they've developed a losing mentality. Henry was obviously a very special player, but even without him they had genuine matchwinners in that team who would stand up and be counted, and win games when the rest of the team probably deserved to lose them. Last season they had Fabregas, but this year, when he hasn't been in the best of form, they've had nobody.

Van Persie is a good player, and has scored a good amount of goals this year, but is always a liability to do something reckless, or even just make the wrong decision when it counts.

Messi is and always will be a more brilliant player.

There's no way of knowing this.

I think Messi's a better player than Ronaldo, but the gap isn't as huge as a lot of people like to make out.

How is Messi a better player than Ronaldo? Btw, i hate both so i'm not biased at all.

Ronaldo shoots better, is much better at freekicks and great at heading. Ronaldo is way more well-rounded. Messi is pretty much the world's best one trick pony, he runs with the ball and shoots. Dude doesn't even do fancy dribbles anymore. What Funk said about Ronaldo and La Liga is true, but he did the same exact thing in PL, a league that has a lot of good teams and several great ones.

Messi is a much lesser player without the assistance of Xavi and Iniesta, as was proven in the last WC. Messi who is normally a goal-machine didn't score a single goal and wasn't especially hot in the quals either.

You have to remember that Messi plays for Barcelona and is therefore superior both physically and morally.

I think Ronaldo's the more well-rounded player like Q_F said, but Messi is a much more effective presence with what he does. Players KNOW that Messi will always move to his left because that's his favored side, yet despite knowing this, they still cannot do anything to stop him.

What makes Messi a better football player to me than Ronaldo, is the fact that he is a true footballer's footballer. He doesn't dive around when he's clearly being fouled and he battles hard to win the ball back if he momentarily loses it. His style is a lot less flashy than Ronaldo's, but he has an incredible instinct and attitude that shame's his Portuguese rival's.

Yea. Too bad he's surrounded by the likes of Mascherano's and Dani Alves'. Really good players, but bitches like mad.

Yup, I completely agree. Those dickheads ruined the Real/Barca series this year.

Yeah, that you're totally right about. He doesn't dive while Ronaldo has a PhD in diving, the cunt that he is. What annoys me about Messi is that he's selfish, he never passes anyone unless he's scored two goals, and the fact that he gets a lot of cred that really belongs to Xavi and Iniesta (my favourite Barca player by far), cause they're the real heart of Barca's creativity.

They are the two best players in the world, no argument about that.

Iniesta (my favourite Barca player by far)

I heart Iniesta. Best player in the world IMO.

Such an incredible pure footballer. Great touch with both feet, great passing vision, quick feet, very underrated defensive pressing skills, always positionally aware, almost always picks the right pass or run, never greedy, never plays with any ego.

Iniesta's greatest strength, IMO, is that 90% of the time he just sticks to the basics. That often gets him overlooked, but it's so effective because he does all of the basics absolutely perfectly.

So Villa did Spurs a favour today by making sure we didn't have to worry about Liverpool. In return we relegated Birmingham. Nice when it works out like that.

Epic last day of the season. Awesome season for Newcastle, really think that if the bring in a few players with the Carroll money they can push to get in the top 8.

No on both counts i think. Middlesborough did both previously and also fairly sue Ipswich hve played in europe while not in the top flight.

Congrats to Pearce, only guy to get all top 7 teams in the correct order! While Jacks score looks bad he was one spot off with 10 of his picks.....a lot of them were that way but Jack's was the highest. Great job fellas, if there are any errors please let it be known here!

Yeah, a lot richer than Roman. He's richer than the Sheikh at City I think.

I assume that he's just not that interested in the club, and isn't bothered about making it his play thing in the way that Roman and Mansour were/are.
