I just had the most unbelievable war as Frank Shamrock against Pat Miletich. If that was a really MMA fight, it would be the greatest of all time. Complete back-and-forth stand-up war with some ground work that led to both our faces being mangled with cuts, Miletich's arms looked like someone took a bat to them, and with 10 seconds to go of the 20 minutes, I nabbed the RNC finish.

What a fight.

I also just had a 5-fight series as Manhoef against Cung Le.. I lost 3-2, but I definitely got the most brutal KOs via stomps. Watching his head bounce of the mat while his stupid haircut flopped around was hilarious.

Tough, I honestly found the default difficulty to be pretty tough at first once you start fighting guys with some skills.

Oh dear god I just had an epic fight with Bas and Roger Gracie.

I knocked him down three times, and was stomping his face hard (Japanese rules :D) but he kept recovering. Then he took me down, I reversed and he locked in a triangle, which I got out of relatively easily. I stood up and had him in trouble again with some nasty liver shots, but ended up temporarily gassing myself out, and he took me down from the clinch.

Pretty much rapage on the ground this time, as he passed my guard like butter, mounted me and locked in a tiiiight triangle. Barely managed to get out of that, and he switched to an armbar which again, I barely escaped, then just when I think I'm safe he switches to an omoplata (submission chaining is SWANK) where I was in serious trouble again, but just about got out of.

Back on the feet I thought "fuck you Gracie bastard, I'm gonna break your liver" and started caning him with body shots to the point where his stamina and torso bars were both on zero, then he somehow got a takedown. Problem was, Roger was gassed to fuck from the liver kicking I'd just gave him, and I armbarred him from guard with about 15 seconds left in the first.

Yeah chokes are tricky but I think I'm getting the hang of them now. Have only had a few hours on it, cos I've been playing New Vegas for about two days straight lol.

I had about five matches of me just raping Sapp with Fedor lol. I smashed him in like 30 seconds the first three times, just overwhelming him with punches early, then the fourth, he ducked and counted with about three MASSIVE shots that dropped me. I barely survived, then armbarred him :D.

The best part is that each fighter feels unique. In the first Undisputed, all the BJJ fighters felt the same, all the kickboxers felt the same, all the wrestlers felt the same. In EA MMA, you will encounter more dynamic AI. For instance, if you're outstriking a striker, eventually he will change his mind and try to clinch with you/take you down. Conversely, if you're fighting a grappler and he's outstriking you, he will keep the fight standing until you start making headway.

Fights just feel far less formulaic and you really have to think about what you're doing in all disciplines, which is incredibly refreshing for a fighting game in general.

it's like Scott Smith Glitch. He's prob got 120 comeback ability or something. Kind of like the Glitch in old Maddens where you could just Qb sneak with Vick for a first down every time. lol

Somehow Vitor's submission stats are way lower than Aoki's, which is ridiculous considering Aoki tried his best to avoid the ground game in their fight.
