Man, they really don't want Curran to do well at 135, do they? First Benavidez, now Mizugaki?

If this is a stand up battle, Mizugaki takes it easily. If Curran is smart and tries to go to the ground, he could grind out a decision, but he's not tapping Takeya.

you think curran will stand and trade with mizugaki or he'll try to use his bjj more in this fight? i'm not sure how good mizugaki's ground game is, but curran has some serious grappling skills. this should be a great fight

This should be a good fight. Mizugaki seems to have some damn good hands and should be able to use them even more without the huge reach disadvantage.

I just hope Curran doesn't give up the takedowns so easy like he did last fight. I understand Benavidez is a good wrestler, but half the time Curran just seemed way to content to try and work subs from his back and took a beating because of it(much like Cerrone did vs Varner).

Curran's best shot in this fight would be to close the distance and try to take Mizugaki down, but Mizugaki showed some pretty solid TDD vs Torres so this should be interesting.

I don't bet on fights so i don't know if you can bet on this fight. However if you can i would think you might be able to get some decent odds on Mizugaki.

Great post Viking, I agree with just about everything you said. I think it will be a great fight and I hope Mizugaki uses his TDD to keep it standing and strike with Curran. Thinking Takeya gets a UD here in a great fight

Curran's not doing so well lately. I know he's been fighting against studs, but he's 0-3, possibly 0-4 after this fight.
