April had a huge dead period.. and now theres another month long gap between 129 and 130..

but once we get to 130 we are gonna have a pretty sweet streak of events

May 28th
UFC 130

June 04
TUF Finale

June 11
UFC 131

June 18
Strikeforce

June 26
UFC on Versus 4

July 2
UFC 132

Thats a shit ton of events.. 6 events in a little over a month

I actually wrote an article on how dead April and May are despite UFC owning 90% of marketable fighter's contracts.

But no one is posting my shit. :(

I wonder why the UFC had the huge gap? anything to do with students finishing up with exams perhaps?! The amount of sports playoffs that happen around this time? Im not really sure but it just seem weird to have such a big gap.

And add 2 UFC events in Philly and Rio in August and there goes your summer fix of UFC.

Just do what Jack does and post the article in a thread and it can be moved to the front page later.

This.

Front page is meaningless imo.. I think if we link to articles we should link to them on the forum anyways.. it might be less professional.. but people that read the articles will see the comments directly below it and will be more likely to register and reply to a comment... thats how I am anyways.. everytime I read articles that have comments directly below them.. I'm always like "wtf that comment is so stupid.. I need to register to call that guy an idiot"

All that matters is the Strikeforce card. That card is just ridiculously sick. I would put that card head-to-head with any UFC card.

Overeem (#7 HW) vs Werdum (#2 HW) - HWGP
Barnett (#13 HW) vs Rogers (#15 HW) - HWGP
Masvidal vs Noons - #1 LW Contenders Fight
Carano vs D'Alelio
Valentijn vs Griggs - HWGP Reserve

lol it's just obscenely stacked. I can't even remember the last time HW's even fought on a UFC main card, and there's 6 of 'em on here, with a good manlet fight plus hot chicks to boot.
