Normally I'd do a sweet write up for fights that I think are awesome but won't do it this time cause I'm kind of limited for computer access at the moment.
But goddamn it the cards in August are sweet.
UFC 133: The entire main card should be awesome from start to finish.
Davis vs Evans - potentially the dullest but will still deliver
Franklin vs Rog Nog - 3 rounds of striking
Belfort vs Akiyama - someone's going to sleep early
Rivera vs Sakara - slug fest
Matyushenko vs Gustafsson - guaranteed KO
UFC Live: Hardy vs Lytle:
Main event should be fun to watch. Neither guy is the most technical but it'll be entertaining.
The rest of the card I suggest you look up cause there is too many to copy and paste. It looks awesome.
UFC 134 we finally get Silva vs Okami - the fight 6 people have been waiting for.
If this month of MMA doesn't deliver then I unno what will. It doesn't get much better than this. There is no shortage of guys whom come to fight.

Can I just go on record again and say I fucking love Rich Franklin? Has the dude done anything wrong, ever? Such an awesome/fun fighter.
Also, these upcoming cards don't seem half bad, hopefully they deliver. Lytle/Hardy should just be bananas

You're allowed, he maybe a bit of a meh character but dude always comes to fight, there isn't a ton to cheer about in MMA right now so yo go right ahead!!
Franklin/Nog will be fun as shit, Hardy/Lytle will be guns blazing and hell I maybe the only one left but I hope A.Silva absolutely butt rapes Okami. :byebye5:

As much as Id like to see someone else hold the title for a change. I don't think Okami will bring everything he has to the table and it'll be a rather shit fight. With Silva inevitably winning.

Rich is the man. He always comes to fight. He is always classy. When he breaks bones, he keeps fighting, and does so with awesomeness.
Most fighters complain when they break a nail. Rich Franklin KO'ed Chuck with a broken arm and destroyed Loiseau with a broken hand.
Rich > Rest of the pussy asses.
His fight with Wanderlei is MAD underrated. Wandy didn't look the best, but dammit, that was a fight. I liked it way better than Wand vs Liddell.

You don't like two fighters swing and missing?
It's true that August is looking like it will deliver the goods. Saying that I can't wait for Phil's monthly thread moaning about the state of MMA in Early September
I'm looking forward to the Pierce vs Hendricks fight.

rich is imo the guy thats had the hardest set of opponents over his career. also he has to be one of the most underrated guys around. if it hadnt been for mr anderson rich would most likely still be very relevant at 185
also hes a guy i could definatly see myself beeing friends with
Rich Franklin is indeed awesome, but damn, Nog is Nog so can't root against him. I wish they can fight to a draw.
And surprise surprise. They put on a stacked fucking 4 cards when I can't watch them live. I call BS. Anywayz WAR OKAMI !!

Yeah, Rich seems really cool. Respect.
Anyway, I wanna see how Rashad will do, if he loses, then .... lol.
Spoiler : He'll lose.

You gotta love his professionalism. The man is offered a job and he takes it.
When he retires he should be in charge of booking the fights cause with his mentality, he'll only choose the right guys.
Rashad vs Davis is really interesting to me because I cannot wait to see how each guy performs. The winner is likely gonna be facing Jones (who will probably school Rampage). Is Phil Davis ready for a challenge like that? This fight should prove it.
Franklin is too bad ass. Fighters Only did an interview with him, and he said he wanted to take time off after Wand fight, but since they asked him to fight Belfort, he took it coz he's a company man and won't pass any fight. Now that's an attitude to have *looks at Rashad Evans*
And I agree with Damone. His fight with Wand was awesome. when I saw it I was literally jizzing my pants when Franklin was punching, while wand swinged those elbows with his back turned. AWESOME.
