What a suprise! Boxing Legend Roberto Duran showed up at Xtreme Couture to give Vitor some of his record breaking techniques that helped him win 4 different title belts.

It was such an inspiring moment the gym stood still to admire one of boxing’s greatest in the cage trading secrets with Belfort.

We are here with boxing champion, Roberto Duran, one of the greatest fighters in the world, and the first question is:

I: What motivated you to be a boxer?

RD: Poverty … I was very poor, and that was what motivated me to be a boxer.

I: You are one of the greatest boxer in history, what do you think of today’s boxers?

RD: Not bad … I just think that unfortunately it wasn’t like this back when I was fighting, in my time we did not make as much money as today, back then we had great boxers and little money … now days there are many so so boxers, making a lot of money, I wish I lived in today’s generation of fighters, I would live very well, fight and make way more money then back in my days ….

I: A question from Carlos Felipe: I am a boxer, but I want to fight MMA in the future, I would like to know from you guys (Vitor and Roberto) what do you think about this possibility?

RD: I think it is good … if a boxer wants to pursue a fighting career he has to take it seriously, one can not get involved with drugs, or bad companies, none of these things … you have to be dedicated to what you like, if you like boxing, you need to take it serious … this is what I can tell you now … but if you can not be a great fighter, go to school then, keep studying because you can reach your goals through studying and be more prepared for what the future holds for you.

I: What do you think of the talents of today?

RD: Well … the world is always turning, and a new generation of boxers start, and I see nothing bad in the new generation … I see very good talents, it is just unfortunate that we don’t have many more great boxers from the past, they could have helped the new generation of fighters a lot…

Thank you,we were here with, Robero Duran one of the best fighters in boxing history.

I wonder if he's teaching him how to quit as well. I think Vitor already knows how to do that tho ;)
