View Full Version : UFC on Fox Nov 12th card, who will they get for the 2 fights?

So with UFC 138 and UFC 139 inbetween the first FOX event I wonder who there gonna pick for the event?

For there first show I'd imagine they want to start with a bang and am expecting some sort of #1 contenders match/really exciting fight.

However Im having a hard time choosing who they will go with, Davis/Machida instantly comes to mind and fits the bill well but it has a bit of boring written all over it.

other thought is that they pull a fight from one of the PPV's like Condit/BJ as there both near the top of the division and its likely a #1 contender bout.

Long shot is that they sign Henderson and put him in there with Franklin/Belfort? again long shot but I love Hendo/Belfort.

Anyway thought I'd get some discussion going about this as there really aren't a ton of options IMO.

Machida vs Davis would be good, or Machida vs Hendo. Depending on how Bendo recovers from his last fight a Bendo/Guida matchup makes sense too.

Machida/Davis is a rumoured bout, not sure how long Davis needs for his knee to recover but I assume he will be set for an end of year return.

Bendo/Guida is a thought aswell, not sure if they would make that the co-me though.

I like the idea of bringing hendo in, but not against vitor. Keep him at lhw please. A Franklin or machida fight would be fun

Huh? Unless something has changed they already announced Garza/Poirier?!

I'd highly doubt they get a main slot on FOX either, not sure if you were trying to be humorous here but I def missed the joke.:wondering:

I am really hoping for Machida/Hendo and Bendo/Guida. I think both fights have the potential to be exciting and would draw very well. I personally cant think of any other two matches that could reasonably be made that would draw better than those two
