Pretty easy card..

I got Edgar + all favorites basically (so many big favorites)
I made a lot of different 4 fight parlays with different combinations of 4 big favorites.. should be pretty easy $

2 fights im questionable about are

lauzon vs pettis
hioki vs palaszewski

hioki looked like shit against roop
lauzon vs pettis is a toss up to me.. lauzon will probably gas in 2mins tho and lose

I don't know if this counts but my parlay on mmaplayground is Mizugaki, Pettis and Edgar.

Bail, could you tell me where you placed your bet and if they take Mastercard?

5dimes.. click one of the banners on the site and make an account.. they accept mastercard but your card might not work .. depends on the cards policy

The thing about Lauzon/Pettis that makes me very confident in Pettis is that he's very hard to finish, and as long as he survives the first round (which I see him having no trouble doing), he wins.

I think a couple of factors will result in Hioki looking much better. 1) 2nd fight in the UFC. 2) Doesn't have to worry about international travel and adjusting to a completely different clock. 3) Bart has a pretty straightforward game (big puncher, not much else), and isn't going to just sit on the bottom defending a topside triangle, he's going to try to get up, and leave openings in the process.

I'm thinking of going the favorite route as well, with maybe an upset pick in a smaller parlay.

Definitely not the best card for straight odds (or even props), but there's certainly money to be made.

also edgar by decision is a much better bet than edgar straight up but I suggest everyone put edgar straight (or bendo if you pick him) in your parlay instead of the prop... so you can easily hedge if it comes down to it.. would suck A LOT if you picked edgar by decision and your parlay was coming down to that and then you hedged on bendo and edgar somehow got the finish lol

so many fighters I don't know in the undercard...are the favorites down there really that "easy" of a choice?

Instead of making a new thread for individual bets...

Really liking Kongo/Hunt to go decision +220. Kongo via decision is only +268. Not sure I see Kongo going for a sub here, or if he can even get one even though it is Hunt.

Okami decision -137...little lower than I would like but will probably bet some on this. Boetsch is pretty tough.

Edgar Unanimous decision +178.

Yeah some pretty good decision bets on this card that I will likely combine into a sweet parlay.

Lookin at the card and there really isn't one underdog where I'm comfortable picking so more than likely will go all favourites...... I feel like Bart could pull it out or Gomi/Kid will shit the bed.....more worried about Gomi.

ya im pretty worried about gomi or kid shitting the bed too.. but whatever still have to pick them over their pathetic opponents.

I've got:

Edgar by Decision
Jackson
Kongo
Shields
Okami
Hioki (thought about going Inside Distance, but shied away for the parlay purposes)
Pettis Inside Distance
Gomi
Kid
Fukuda
Mizugaki
Zhang

Only I was really questionable on were deciding whether or not to use props or not. Was thinking of using Rampage, Okami and Shields by decision, but ended up just using those in other parlays.

Bendo got superkicked by Pettis and didn't get finished, and massacred by Cerrone with every submission possible and didn't get finished. I'm confident in the only finish here being a Henderson guillotine.

with the edgar straight and edgar dec line being so close .. I would rather just take the small loss and if it comes down to it have the possibility to hedge with the peace of mind knowing i cant possibly lose.

Id much rather put okami by dec in the parlay .. its a bit less likely, but the difference between the straight line is much greater.. and since its in the middle i dont have to worry about the hedge shit

Yeah i remember saying awhile ago only way this fight doesn't go to the judges is if Bendo catches the guillotine. Bother are super tough, great in scrambles, and neither has a ton of power.
