Here's the official LOCKDOWN article:

If you like to make money, continue reading!

The week leading up to every UFC event, the staff at your beloved Fightlockdown.com will offer you breakdowns of the most equitable bets on the forthcoming card. While we feel that all the fights we’ve selected are profitable bets, the ones that we feel are money in the bank shall be referred to as “Lockdowns.” So without further adieu, ladies and gentlemen, FLD presents… UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida!

LOCKDOWN #1: Chris 'the Professor' Wilson (-167) vs. Brock Larson (+120)

Without question the odds for this fight make it the biggest steal on this card, and quite frankly make me question what the folks over at sportsinteraction.com are thinking. Brock Larson is an explosive wrestler with solid striking, great cardio, very good submission defense, and equally good submission skills of his own. He'll be facing Chris Wilson who has shown crisp technical striking, a chin of iron, and a dangerous guard that put even Jon Fitch in trouble. While Wilson holds an advantage in the stand-up, we feel that the deciding factor in this fight will be the wrestling component, as he has shown a susceptibility to being taken down by strong wrestlers—a term synonymous with 'Brock Larson'. Look for Brock to take the fight to the ground virtually at will, avoiding Wilson's submission attempts while inflicting damage of his own, earning a hard-fought Unanimous Decision—as 'The Professor' is harder to finish than an episode of Dharma and Greg.

We are confident that Brock wins this fight 70-75% of the time with his great wrestling, submission defense, and relentless pace.

LOCKDOWN #2: Drew 'the Massacre' McFederies (-175) vs. Xavier 'Professor X' Foupa-Pokam (+157)

Another match-up on this card that will give you license to rob the bookie, bang his wife, and burn down his house without leaving a trace, is this one. There are no surprises as to what D-Fed and Prof X have planned this Saturday, as both men are coming off disappointing losses, looking to make a statement in the form of a spectacular knockout. In one corner we have Drew McFederies, an MFS fighter possessing power in his hands, a sweet nickname, unorthodox (some call it 'sloppy') boxing, and a puzzled expression if the the "ground game" is mentioned in his presence. Standing across from him this weekend will be Xavier Foupa-Pokam, an athletic French kickboxer with technical striking, an okay ground game, and a passion for fresh baguettes. To us, this match-up is destined to end within the first round, and the deciding factor will be Xavier's larger arsenal of weapons—including knees, kicks, and elbows—which outnumber Drew's two cinderblocks stuffed with grenades. Look for the fight to start-off slowly with a feeling-out process, only for Xavier to catch McFederies with a kick as he's coming forward swinging for the fences.

We feel as though Xavier wins this fight 65% of the time, as his better striking technique—both offensively and defensively—make him more likely to score the KO than Drew. Don't worry about who is better on the ground in this match-up, because it's more likely that you will see Christ rise from the Earth and fornicate with a unicorn than a takedown.

And there you have it folks, another Lockdown in the books. Just make sure you tip us on your way out the bar, as you're laughing your way to the bank! Until next time, enjoy the fights!

This is why you bet on more then 1 site
Bet on Brock on sportsinteraction
Bet on Wilson on Bodog
you get +120 and +250

so if Brock wins you net 20% on your bet
if Wilson wins you net 150% on your bet
You profit regardless of who wins

EDIT: sportsinteraction updated their odds.. brock is now -400 on their site lol.. and Xprof is -200

lol, thanks Mervin! These bets just seemed like the most logical and rewarding to us, especially Larson who is tailor-made to give Wilson trouble. Glad you enjoyed it!

Why would it piss you off? I'm the one who spent an hour writing it, then another half hour re-writing it when my browser shut down.

I like the Larson pick Miles.

The professor X one is right on the button however putting money on that fight would scare the hell out of me, watching the fight and praying for McFedries to not land the big punch would be nerve racking.

Thanks. And yeah, X/D-Fed is riskier just because both guys have what it takes to knock the other out. I'm just hoping that the technically tighter fighter can avoid the looping bombs of the brawler. I think McFederies has shown more weaknesses in the past too, he comes across as the kind of fighter with big power, but he's not very good at eating a punch. I remember Xavier had his nose broken by Dan Henderson in training (for Anderson Silva @ 82), and he apparently kept going, which is an impressive feat in itself lol.
