Who are your favourite fighters?

Now that the game has come out we can experience a bit more characters then just Chuck and Shogun, so who do you guys like to play as characters, not just cause you like them in RL.

My favourite guys would probably be.
Anderson Silva - I love the flying knee to mauy thai clinch combo, + when he counters punches it go straight to the MT clinch which is EPIC. + i really like the ground game and since he has BJJ, i can work off my back with him to hit sweeps and subs etc. + he has a really awesome front kick :D

Brock Lesnar - WOW, they made him rediculously good in the game. He is very very tough to take down to keep it standing, and he has more range on his shot then other people (i believe). Also he has a solid running punch and he has got some really big hooks. Also, he has a really really good chin

Nog - He is also really fun, he has solid boxing (nothing special, but solid) decent take downs. BUT, he has judo throws, even though he is BJJ/Boxing, which instead of dropping to his back like most BJJ guys have. Also he may have the quickest transitions in the game


Also, i don't use him a lot, but BJ is redic in the standup, cause he actually pops his headf out of the way after certain punches

Thiago Silva.

The guy is just a plain monster in the game and doesn't have a glass jaw like in real life.

Similar to Shogun's skills so I'm already used to the style.

I need to start playing with other guys at some point because I've used a couple boxers but I'm not used to that style really.

I actually think I might start using Sherk online because it seems impossible to stop his takedowns and with his insane cardio, transitioning and GnP should be nice and easy.

he is a blast to strike w/ ...especially against someone who is weak standing...b/c his hands are so fast but he doesnt have much power lol...so u end up just making someone look retarded landing like 100 unanswered shots throughout the fight...much like in real life, i've went do decision w/ him many, many times

I'll be honest. I'm a good striker but I get distracted and I love fighting on the ground so much I don't want to risk trading punches and getting a flash KO.

It's probably from fighting with Shogun vs Chuck for so long.

BJ - Didn't like him at first but once you get used to him he's quality, catching people coming in and dropping them with a left hook is epic.

GSP - Seriously fun to play with, he's got a nice standup game and obviously awesome wrestling.

Crocop - LHK, nuff said.

Other than that, Forrest, Wand, Rampage, Alves are all fun to use.

I'm actually enjoying playing as Anthony Johnson I've beaten hosts who have picked GSP on two occasions by KO.

Thiago Silva is fun to play with because he's very well rounded in the game and has a much better chin.

Other than the league I play with my brother, I have only used Wanderlei Silva.

I just love the guy so much I always want to play as him lol.

Has anyone played with all the guys yet? I just finished playing every single fighter on the roster and its really cool to see how each guy works.

Of course the obvious ones like Anderson, GSP, Lyoto, etc are fun but the suprising ones I enjoyed were Hermes, Sherk, and Anthony Johnson

Just played a few gams with Hendo against Swick and surpisingly he's really fun to use. Decent standup with good power, that right hand was finding a home on Swick, good wrestling obviously and his GnP is brutal.
