THQ Working on a Patch?

Hey everyone, I wanted to let everyone know that THQ is working on a PATCH for UFC 2009. This patch is said to decrease the lag problems and address the situation with the DNFs/quitting.

This better be true, the lag really ruins the standup game IMO and there's not really much point in playing ranked when people just quit on you, I've only been quit on 4 times but it's still annoying.

I would be happy with some latency information about your opponent before you start your match. And maybe be able to set a cap that you dont get matched up with someone over a certain ping.

I expected it as well, THQ is pretty good about working on patches for their online games.

That, and it's just expected with this generation of consoles. Almost every game gets patched now if there are serious issues (which this game has).

It's shit how it got released like this in the first place though really, I mean did they seriously not think that people woudl just disconnect if they were losing?

And who is that guy that made the post??? There is no source or anything. I'm not saying its out of the question, because most games get patched nowadays, but without a source or if he isn't a member of THQ or works for the gaming industry then I'm not gonna believe it till I get an update on my xbox. I'll believe the Admin over on the official site first
