I was supposed to fight this friday for NAAFS but the commission denied both of the fights that they matched me up with. One of the guys was 4-2 and they still denied it so i dont know what they are looking for matchup wise exactly, but anyway my opponent is named Josh Cole and he is 4-0, has done well in some NAGA competitions and all four of his fights have ended by submission. He is also pretty tall for a 145 at 5'11". Should be a really good fight I will post the video after it goes down.

so all i have to do to please the forum is drop him with a liver shot and then rear naked choke him and throw on an inverted triangle. I am going to be honest, thats going to be rough.

I can get some training pics but i dont have a video camera yet i will get one someday lol

Wow, some crazy requests hear...

All I ask is that you end it Jose Aldo style, double flying knee...shouldn't be too difficult.

That sort of defeateist talkk will not be tolerated. :D

Subbing a guy with a history of subs himself maybe a bit tough. I will accept any means of finish as long as you steal his soul - Rich Franklin over Loiseau style.

Ok kamikazee we will simplfy things for ya.

Just come out with flying knee's and on the way down liver punch his liver out of his body. Then as it's flying out catch it in an inverted triangle choke and then slide to his back and slap on a rear naked.

Shouldn't be a problem.

i don't think it should be. I'd do it man.

Luckily I have a friend with a huge microphone. I will have to throw the double flying knee to the body, its in Ohio this time so no kicks or knees to the head unfortunately. I have a good idea for the finish, I am going to knock him out. Doesnt matter how, just get the clean KO, then I am going to perform a removal of his liver surgery style right in the middle of the cage, first time ever done. And Lotus, I might just have to throw him in a RNC for you since you feel so strongly about it.

Picked up my first loss tonight, definately found some things I need to work on. It was my most fun fight yet though and im very pleased with my performance and my improvement fight to fight, the main things I got from this fight are I need to keep my hips off the cage and have much better posture in people's guard, I just kind of stick my butt straight up. I will fix these things and come back stronger. It was a very close and competitive fight, and I have always said I would rather lose an exciting fight than win a boring one so i cant complain. Here is round one I will post the other two rounds once I get them uploaded

Just watched first round.

round recap.
Seems like you were trying to gauge the range, but telegraphed your kick early and it got caught. You did a good job of getting up, but then got slammed. You also did a great job of getting guard from what looked like side control. He didn't seem to do much Damage wise on top, but was very patient and passed your guard. He got pretty wild there and you did an awesome job of staying calm and sweeping into his guard. You then unleashed some big shots and beat him standing when you got back up. You seemed to do more damage in that round, but he was on top for alot of that and had mount.

Disclaimer: i couldn't see alot in that corner when he was on top so i might have some missed some things.

Edit: Wow second round outside of that early shot he couldn't get any offense going. Your TDD on those single legs looked Penn like. You really unleashed some nice GNP once you got on top. You also did a nice job of defending that Knee bar(?) attempt without relinquishing position or without stopping that GNP. If you had another minute in that round you would have put him to sleep.

wow man awesome fight and tough decision loss. Especially when one judge had it for you 30-27.

I think the judges might have fell in love with those slams a bit much.

BTW what exactly happened near the end of round 3 where you swept to guard and then ended in half guard kind of. Like what was that guy doing to you? Was it pretty much just a headlock or was their some sort of odd choke being applied?

Good fight. I think with more take down defence you would have taken it easily.

At least you have a list of stuff to work on now, any idea when your next fight is?

unlucky bro , i think you will come back stronger from this all fighters, even the great ones lose at some point, i think there's a saying that goes to "truely appreciate victory , you must first taste defeat" , anyways work on your weaknesses and get back to whooping fools :)

he actually had an omaplata, i know you cant really see it on the video, then with about secs left he switched to an arm triangle. It didnt hurt too much, but i couldnt get the arm out, im hoping they make a dvd so i can see the inside the cage angle, if they do i will post that vid too, the first round and what went on from the rubber guard is kind of lost on that vid.

Ok yeah i couldn't see exactly what was going on. I knew he had you trapped to some extent, but couldn't exactly see with what.

The first round was also really tough. I thought i saw you using some sort of rubber guard, but couldn't see alot. That explains why he seemed to be pretty still on top besides the passes.

Yeah if you do get a hold of another vid be sure to post it.

That gif was cool though. Spinning your way into guard while managing to land an effective shot while doing so. Very Sakuraba like.

Just watched the first round. Great job sweeping from the mount into his guard, you were way more active than he was aside from his takedowns. His stand-up is TERRIBLE.

K, I saw the whole fight and I have to say I'm surprised you lost the decision. I gave it to you 29-28 (with you only losing the third round). In the first you landed more effective strikes and you got out of bad positions to deliver more damage. The second round could have been scored a 10-8, he had absolutely nothing for you and he could barely get up at the end of the round. The third round he just controlled you better, I'm not sure if you were tired, but it seemed like as soon as it hit the ground you were a bit too relaxed which let him get the mount.

Overall a great fight man, very impressive. I think it's good that you lost though, because now you see where you need to make adjustments. Looking forward to your next one!

yeah i went to mission control and was able to get to New York pretty easily and I just stayed there and threw shots to the head and body with my free hand. I let go of the rubber guard as soon as he passed my right leg

Ok thats what i thought, but wasn't 100%. That ginger actually looked pretty big which really seemed to be his biggest advantage in the fight.

Anyways man keep working hard and improving and i'm sure you'll get back to your winning ways.
