Anyone on here still play Halo? I am on leave from work so I got nothing to do all day but post on my favorite forum (fightlockdown.com :D), watch movies, and play video games. Anyone wanna play?

ive only played the first one and i beat it iin one night

thats my prb with games...i dont buy them because i beat them within at most 3 days then im over it....but classics i keep otherwise i just rent...sry i dont got the game....or xbox live...i have a 360 but have no idea how to do xbox live..i think i would have to buy something additional to do it

I never play single player.. I just play games on xbox live..
I cant stand playing by myself.
If you have a router, you just run an Ethernet cable to your xbox 360.. and order xbox live (its like 15 a month i think) and you are set.


I use to play halo 3 alot.. but I dont have much time anymore.. whats your gamertag JT?.. what mode do you usually play?

i play a decent amount of halo 3 still. what's your gamer tag? i'll send you a friend request once i get back to my xbox (away from it on spring break now)

My tag is ZER0LUX and the "O" is a zero. I alternate between Madden (which I totally suck at) and Halo (which I still suck at but not quite as bad) :D

My roommate and I used to play Halo all the time. Last year when it released I won a copy early so we beat that then decided to get every achievement so we played through it on normal to get the skulls and terminals then went through it on legendary and then got all of the online achievements in like 2 days.

I don't play it much now at all. I play a lot more COD4 and COD5.

Halo 3 is one of the best games ever. Too bad I don't have 360, or any systems for that matter :(

Seems like a LOT of people have moved on to the COD games. I loved the campaign on COD4 but couldnt seem to catch on as well to the multiplayer. Figured I was already good at Halo so why start at the bottom again with different gameplay

i played a lot of COD 4 as well, activated achievement mode twice before i stopped playing. my gamertag is the same as my name here if anyone wants to add me

Yeah there's a ton of people on COD now.

I'd still be playing Halo but at school we have shitty internet and it lags and kicks me off way too much to play there.

For some reason COD doesn't lag at all at school so I just play that.

I've always been a PS man myself so I've never really played Halo but I got a 360 a few months back, I might have to pick this up pre-owned or something and see what all the fuss is about although I'm crap at these sort of games.

I use to suck at every FPS game on console.. suck bad..
I never played Halo 1 or 2 because I couldnt aim good enough to ever kill anyone..

but for some reason I bought Halo 3 because of all the hype.. and after alot of playing I actually got decent lol.

One tip for people that suck at FPS on console.. use the lowest sensitivitiy you can :).. I still use 1 sensitivity in halo3.. and Im pretty good now.. the lower the sensitivity.. the easier it is to keep the crosshair on their head :D

The slower you turn for snipes and no scopes though.

Ya, Im not that great with sniper lol.
also if someone jumps behind me its pretty bad too.. because you spin around so slow.

Whoa! I think it would feel like I was swimming through Molasses on sensitivity 1!! I think mine is currently set to 8 lol

hahha.. ya I didnt realize how uncommon using 1 was until recently.. when I was playing SWAT mode and everyone was saying they were using 6 or above.. i was like wtf

but Im pretty good.. I tried to use 3 (default) and it was alot harder for me..

lol I played with Aaron before.. he seen my 'amazing!' skills :D

Lol yeah you gotta increase your sensitivity and just get used to playing with a higher sensitivity because you'll get killed a lot more often on the lower ones.

I used to do some tournaments and I think mine was set to 6 or 7.
