Is anyone else interested in this fight? I know I am because I really like Catone and think he has a good future with his size and strength.
I think this is going to be a good fight for Nick since he has the exact skills to beat Tim. He just needs to follow CB Dollaway and Jesse Taylors gameplans from TUF.
Since Nick will probably be about a +200 underdog I think it's a good bet.
In fact I would write an article but I am way too biased and it would just be a 6-9 paragraph of me sucking Nick off.

It's pretty good his opponent is garbage and keeps shooting in on him so he has to defend takedowns but he shows good wrestling, good control and fantastic strength because he pulls that sub so quickly.

Yeah, I'd definitely put my money on Catone in this one. He has the tools to beat Creduer...plus he's from Nj and I refuse to against him.

Here's the video of his UFC debut for those who haven't seen which is probably about 90% of you.
Man if only he fought Amir I would've loved to see him physically dominate a fight against a guy with a name.

You know how annoying it was to see them cancel that fight more than once?
In my opinion, if he would have fought Sadollah instead, a lot more people would be talking about him.

Yea I agree 100% Dragon a main card fight on Spike TV would've been huge for him instead he's back on the undercard against Tim.
O well he's just going to have to build his career the old fashion way.

I am interested if only for the reason that I can finally get a look at this guy you have been going on and on and on about. j/k
Credeur is a bit of a can for a UFC fighter so this should be an opportunity for Catone to live up to your hype.

i'm also glad that rogan addressed this bs 'back of head' rule .... most ambiguous rule in the book...i hate it

Get a look at the link I posted early Funkyou.
Not saying the guy is going to win the title but he is a real nice fighter to have in the UFC MW division.
Haha yea that was nice Aaron however the knot on Downey's head wasn't.

bbjd, i'd actually like you to write an article on nick catone...he's damn good and just try and keep the bias turned down or off....i think it could be a great article since you have a passion for NJ fighters...
make it happen

Isn't the back of the head rule now based on the Mohawk area?

Wait Aaron is being positive toward a New Jersey fighter lol.
My god I have to write the article now.

from what i understand, it's being enforced as the headphone rule....despite big john's objections to the commissions
it's just bs that a fighter can role to expose the back of the head and use it as a shield...ala lesnar vs. mir
i think i'm going to write an article on the back of the head rules...its been pissing me off for a long time now

Yea my personal feeling on the back of the head is that it should only be enforced in blatant situations like Arlovski vs Pe de Pano which was bullshit.
However I can't blame the refs for enforcing the rule that is in place.
However did anyone else think Catone was punching his ears?
I really dont see Credeur having much of a chance here but at least it will get Catone a little more recognition

exactly....blows like Frank vs. Baroni....or Kimbo vs. Tank that are so unbelievably obvious they were to the back of the head...yes, those should be enforced VERY strictly....but guys getting donkey kong'd shouldn't be allowed to use that head as a shield mi-flurry

The were a couple of occasions when he caught him on the back of the head but purely because the head turned as Catone threw the punch. Most of the time he seemed to be building the guy a new head out of his temple.

As soon as i saw the title i didn't even need to look down to the creator.
I knew it would be a thread dedicated to BBJD7 pimping his jersey guys. Anyways i haven't seen alot of Catone, but from what bbjd has said (of course you gotta filter through some of his man-crush) and from what i know about Creduer. I don't see old timmy having much of a shot here.
I think he will just be overwhelmed by a much stronger athletic Catone. Much like the way he was on TUF. Tim's got some heart, but his BJJ didn't look all that impressive. all he was doing in his fights on the show was going from a closed guard to a ineffective Butterfly guard.
deff write an article bbjd.
