Who do you guys want him to go up against? i'd like him to go up against the looser of chuck-shogun. however, if chuck gets beaten badly i don't want to see this fight, i'd rather him retire without staining his legacy. Who else would you guys like to see go up against franklin?

I'd like to see him fight Machida again and maybe a few other guys at LHW but I don't think he'll do to good there.

I'd like to see him face:
Hendo again
Rampage
Loser of Shogun-Liddel
Boetsch
Evans
Jardine
Franklin vs Jardine sounds really good to me for some reason. I use to think Jardine was a joke but he has proven himself against some of the best and it would be interesting to see Franklin fight such an unorthodox guy.

I'd really like to see a rematch with Hendo. Jardiene would be a good fight as well, maybe Brandon Verra at some point. I think there are some interesting matches with him at 205

I would like Bisping and Franklin at 185. That fight would be a great test for the COunt.

Would be a good fight but i think Rich is trying to stay up at 205 for now....

A fight between him and Chuck would be really fun and would be a huge draw, but I don't see it happening too soon. I can't remember, but is Cane fighting anoyne soon? It would be a good test for Rich at 205 and if Cane wins it launches him right into the top 10 picture.

If he was willing to drop to Middleweight again then him and Akiyama would be awesome. If not then Bisping or Forrest would be a good fight.
Actually I would love to see him up against Jardine to see how his very technical stand-up would deal with Jardine's unorthodox style. Also wouldnt mind:
Houston: Just love watching that guy get KO'd for some reason (I know I'm sick)
Vera: Could be a great stand-up battle
Jon Jones: Another unorthodox guy could be interesting
Bonnar: Just another good 205 test to build up to the top 10 guys

Franklin - Jardine because it is a decent opponent in terms of skill level for Franklin to face and would be a nameworthy opponent for Jardine who otherwise will go and match up another tomato can. to continue to Jardine Pattern

Franklin vs Bisping really needs to happen. If Lyoto loses to Evans then I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between Franklin and Machida. I also agree that bonnar/Franklin would be a really fun fight at 205.

I don't see Bisping vs. Franklin happening anytime soon. Honestly i don't think the fight even serves a purpose at this point, Franklin seems to want to stay at 205, he didn't want to fight Wandy at 185, my guess is he is trying to bulk up and doesn't want to have to worry about that cut to 185.

Forrest, I think this is a terrible match up for Forrest though.
Machida II, a rematch is almost in order, maybe a few tune up fights first.
Vera, would be a good fight between two strikers, but MT is Rich's kryptonite.
Hendo II, needs to happen.
Bisping, would be a fun fight to watch, bad match up for the Count though.
Thiago Silva, would be a great fight
Rashad, would be a great fight.

Hendo P2 definitely needs to happen but I think Hendo is going to stay at 185.
Jardine would be an interesting match up. both good strikers (1 technical and the other unorthodox) and Jardine definitely makes an exciting fight against top fighters.
I'd like to see him fight Vera also but I think Vera needs another solid win to prove that his last dominant fight wasn't a fluke.
