My first fight from last night.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed with my performance. I was pretty calm and confident, but once I stepped in the ring everything went out the window and I just started swinging for the hills. Also my feet felt like they were glued to the ground the whole time so I barely threw kicks or knees. And I gassed so fucking hard in the 3rd round I could barely stand, and just fell down everytime we tied up.
Anyway, it's not in the video but I won a unanimous decision. Scores were 29-27, 29-27 and 28-27.

Ok, I understand this is your first fight, and props to you, but a few things.
You need more snap in all your strikes, you seem to just lob everything.
Need much more footwork, and need to be a bit lighter on your feet.
You're telegraphing EVERYTHING, you throw from too far away, and when you do throw, you wind up and you can see it from a mile away.
You get in this mode when you drop your hands, and throw from your waist, terrible idea. Set up your punches better, work the jabs, and don't throw hooks from your waist. Also, keep atleast one hand up to protect yourself when you throw something, same goes for the kicks, you drop your hands to kick.
And most importantly, is Dave Menne reffing this fight? :P

first of all a big well done for having the balls to step in the ring :)
right after watching that there a few things i noticed you look to have good power in your hands it just your taking most of it away by swinging from your waist , and only throwing one or two shots at a time , try throwing 3 and 4 and finshing with either a low mid or high kick, and also yourchin was creeping up throughout the fight(due to fatigue), but on the positive side you got the win valuable expiernce and your not scared to throw down man , headguards are those compulsory in US amatuer muay thai?

For PA at least.
Yeah I realize I looked like shit haha... i usually don't look like that trust me. I literally didn't do a thing I worked on in training. Pretty much all we worked on was footwork, cutting angles and keeping distance with front kicks. Everything just fuckin flew out the window though when the fight started.

And know thats not Dave Menne haha, it's Eric Utsch. He was the national amateur muay thai champ for a while and he just turned pro I think.
