I'm also guessing Lashley wants to get the sour taste of that last fight out of his mouth. Also wants to make sure people don't write him off after that sub-par performance.

This fight could be big though in terms of how quickly he gets to the UFC. Not only would it be another potential W to add to the record, but a win and more importantly an impressive win still keeps him very marketable.

Lashley had some decent hands in his first fight (I know, it was against a nobody).

He just needs to learn to mix it up better and I think he will be a force.

I think its a good idea to get a lot of ring experience since he wont be put up against guys who pose much threat to him.
