Haven't heard a ton of positive things from any one regarding this season. Everyone seems to shit on it and rightfully so, it was a bad season. Fighters were mediocre, fights were horrid, coaching was bad, Wes Simms was on the show, they never let up on the Kimbo is reutrning to fight hype, etc etc.

Aside from the fact that it is over on Saturday, was there anything you liked about it this year?

What comes to my mind is that Kimbo actually seems to have a kind soul. He comes off as a decent guy on the show and not the street thug we were all used to.

It was really, meh to me. The only that I liked was the bickering between the Rasahd and Rampage. But I lost interest in that when I found out Rampage pulled out of the fight

My favorite part about this season was that they had Schaub (who's looks to be one of the few bright spots on this season)

Schaub has legit potential and even right now has the tools and skill to do very well vs lower to middle level guys in the UFC.

Jones also has some potential to do somethings, but his chin and fighting spirit could hold him back. At the very least though he could put on some fun fights.

Not a big fan of Roy, but he looks like he could be a solid gatekeeper type.

honestly i want to see more of Demico Rogers...i really hope the UFC doesn't pass this kid up...he's good sized, young, athletic, good wrestler...he just needs some time...he was just unfortunately matched up against Schaub in round 1

Demico didn't really get that much coverage neither and that's really too bad.

He must have a bland personality or likes to keep to himself.

Good call, i forgot about him a bit because we didn't get to see him fight a bunch, but he deff has some potential. He just needs some refining and sub defense/sub awareness. I think the UFC might like him though because he gets a bunch of time on those little 30 ad spot things during the commercials of TUF.

You take that back, Wes Simms was hilarious!

I didn't mind the season overall I think they just need to put TUF on the shelf for awhile, the ratings we're good this season but ya know Kimbo had a heavy influence on that.

I was going to make a thread, but I forgot.

About, how TUF is pretty much pointless.

Wasnt the point that the winner gets a contract?

Half the show ends up getting a shot at the UFC anyways.

It really doesnt matter if you win the finals

I liked seeing McSweeny flop like a fish under Roy and Marcus get KO'ed that is about it. I also like the all HW aspect and would love to see an all LW, MW, or WW show.

The bickering really wasn't even amusing. It was like in high school when you heard a black couple breaking up in the hallway. It was loud, repetitive and annoying.

Wes Sims IS awesome. He was pretty much the only bright spot on the show to me. Sims is funny like Rampage used to be.

Oh, also Tiki's constant work to prank Rashad and Van Arsdale rather than coaching his team.

How do people feel about Rashad coming out of the show? Because personally, I still think he's a complete and utter douchebag.

I want to see them take a rest with the UFC for a bit and do one for the WEC FW division, or Bw, or even the Flyweight division, but Fly would be hard as a majority of the guys who would deserve to be on the show would not speak alot of english and the house wouldn't be as "interesting'. Still would be a good way to spark interest in the new Flyweight division.

In an ideal world for one season Id like to see Team Hammer house vs. Team Chute Boxe (Wandy era), NOW that would be good television!

He is still a douchebag and essentially came off a wannabe gangster.

Anything with Coleman and Baroni is good television.

I liked Rashad's coaching aspects most of the time. The way he treated his team seemed proper the way they edited it. That is until they showed the last Nelson fight. Did he really choose to coach McSweeny over Nelson or edit it that way??

In the past when coaches were torn, I believe the coach took a back seat and didn't get caught in a rift between his two fighters.

Im not sure if any those coaches actually trained in the same gym with the guy though. At one point personal feelings are going to interfere.

Really this season was pretty garbage. I liked that their wasnt a lot of drunken stupidity but the fights were for the most part terrible.

The Worst season so far imo. The only thing I liked was Marcus about to kill Militrone. CANT WAIT FOR THEIR FIGHT TOMORROW !!!

The fighters were too raw, none showed much at this point, except Roy, but he's pretty much the same fighter he's always been. I watched it but at the same time as typing on internet, couldn't remember a single detail of a single episode. Still some fighters show promise (translation; are very big).

Though at this point I'm not sure how interesting it is to see guys in a house together, aside from the fight at the end.
If UFC wants a regular hype show, they should just video teams training and stuff.

Team Hammer house vs. Team Chute Boxe (Wandy era),

Didn't that happen at PRIDE 31?

Anyway I thought the later fights were pretty good, I enjoyed Dana Whites hatred of of Roy Nelson and Rampage making fun of Titties. I thought it was a pretty decent season by the end.

wasn't everyone kinda expecting the fights to be like this at HW though? I mean, look at some of the garbage talent in the "top 10" of the HW division...these guys are below them for a reason...they suck balls.

When you combine the fact that HW's gas badly all the time w/ these guys being very unskilled, it's not hard to see why this season's fights were terrible.

Season 2's HW fights weren't that good either.

I couldn't see such a thing lasting longer than 1 hour before Wes Sims says something and Wandy snaps resulting in a Gangs of New York fight scene.
