I've never been a Cole Miller fan but I will be cheering for him in this fight. I believe he has an advantage on the ground he has gotten a few pretty slick subs. Standing should be about even if Cole can use his reach i see him winning standing and eventually getting a TD.

i'm picking junie in this fight. i think training at xtreme cotoure has screwed his head on his shoulders and is much tougher mentally. his stand up looked really crisp in his last fight and i think he'll get the better of miller if this fight turns into a kickboxing match. if this fight hits the ground i see miller controlling browning but i'm not convinced that he'll be able to submit him.
despite all of this if junie gets ktfo or subbed i'll be equally happy. we are talking about junie browning here

I have to agree he was sloppy on TUF but looked on point in his last match. I'm going to have to go with Junie on this one. Decent stand up and training at XTreme Couture can only build his ground game.

Junie has a pretty average ground game. Cole has some real slick submissions.
Cole's stand up isn't real good but neither is Junie's if this thing hits the ground Cole will submit Junie otherwise it's a coinflip.

I'm picking Cole as well just because I don't like Junie.

On a bigger scale...who cares?
Cole Miller. Junie's a loser, who's just putting on an act for the moment. When he loses we'll see his real side yet again.

I take Miller for this one. As others have said they're about even standing and miller has the advantage on the ground especially if gets on top.
I'm pulling for a tko from Junie. What can I say, the dude's entertaining.

Cole with a sub....Junie is more of a reality tv star then a fighter.

I'm actually going with Junie this time. I think he's got his head on straight at XC, and his stand-up is better than Miller's. Cole Miller was getting his ass handed to him for 14 and a half minutes by Jorge Gurgel. JORGE GURGEL.

Man, I don't know much about Cole, but there is nothing about Junie that particularly impresses me.
I just want to see Junie lose and get cut. The way that guy got where he is (being / acting like an inbred redneck), I hope him nothing but the worst in his MMA career.

That's a bit much. Cole was losing but it wasn't a beating.
Cole was losing the stand up and winning the ground game what little of it there was.
He was losing but Jorge wasn't getting his ass handed to him.

Gurgel was well on his way to winning a UD in that fight, it wasn't really competitive until Cole did something off his back in the last minute of the third round. His ground game is being over-rated, as is his wrestling, and I think he's going to be exposed by Junie who is a better striker than Jorge.

I agree Gurgel was going to win but that's not getting your ass handed to you it was a pretty good fight.
His ground game looked outstanding against Gurgel who's a much better grappler then Junie.

I really don't recall it being competitive, I remember shaking my head in disbelief at Gurgel throwing an easy decision win.

Jorge is a lot dumber than Junie too, and he has worse wrestling. Really, this is the typical stand-up fighter with moderate BJJ vs the fairly skilled grappler with virtually no stand-up and average takedowns.
I really dislike everything about Junie so I am cheering for Cole here even though I dont like him either. I cant believe this is main card material. I hate TUF fighters taking spots from fighters who deserve it

Agreed this card has prelim's written all over it but since Junie is from the latest season of TUF and Cole is a TUF alumni they get a main card slot, LAME!!

His stand-up looked crisp against Kaplan, a lot better than Cole's did against Gurgel.
Believe me, I'm not a fan of Junie's personality, I just think stylistically he poses the same problems to Miller that Gurgel did, except he's not as dumb as Jorge and he's probably the better wrestler.

I have to stop you right here. I'm not sure you could say anyone, anywhere is dumber than Junie even though I agree that Gurgel is not a smart fighter at all.

I'm not a huge Junie hater. I'm don't like him at all but I don't think he's the worst thing to ever happen to MMA like some people.
He hit Dave Kaplan with a couple punches however Kaplan is garbage the guy gets hit.
Miller is a much better grappler then Junie and I would say Junie is only the slightly better striker. Junie would be in huge troule if this hits the ground and he hasn't shown a skill set to sprawl and brawl.

Gurgel is by the dumber fighter in the cage, and that's where it counts. How can you say that a guy with black-belt-level BJJ who chooses to brawl when his stand-ups nothing great isn't the dumbest of fighters?

Junie hasn't got the experience of Miller, but I really don't think it'll matter too much. Guys seem to develop a lot faster coming out of the TUF process and Miller isn't some phenom on the ground, he can certainly be beaten by someone who knows how to defend triangles and the takedown.
the thing is , kaplan just stood right in front of junie....it's easy to look good then...
Yes, Kaplan isn't the smartest of fighters, but I really don't think Cole Miller is that much of a better striker, and I don't think he can take the same amount of damage Kaplan can.

the vid's of junie on ufc.com are pretty impressive....
XC really has good striking coaches...i didn't like Shawn Tompkins at all before...but his fighters have really done well lately.
