Translated so it maybe a little rough

Dear fans,

Two days before the match against Alistair Overeem Remy twisted his left knee, which are external meniscus clamp Saturday. The full stretch of the knee was not possible.

There was a day to see how it went. Saturday morning it was still not possible to fully stretch which, in consultation with the K1-organization was discussed what to do.

Remy, the knee strike up quite limited in its ability to optimize its core technologies in order to continue.
The interests of K1 and Remy were so large that it was decided for the match to proceed. Remy was given just before the fight pain-relieving injections

This information could obviously not be announced before the contest.

This week in the Netherlands Remy will be further examined to enable a correct path to rehabilitation.

Hope he is ok

I love Japan, instead of drug testing and doctors checks they pump the fighters up on painkillers and send them out.

This explains his not so impressive performance and I hope he's well soon.

this certainly explains remy's performance. i'm sure he would've looked a lot quicker if he wasn't doped up and could use his leg better

And to think I almost won $5o bucks b/c Remy was doped up and with a jacked up knee. All well he still won so all is well

I'm very glad he has a legit excuse for that performance.
