I figured Cole Miller would beat Junie, but I didn't think he would outclass him and choke him out early in the first.

But why would Goldberg say the TN fans would like Junie when the boo'd him in intro's? And now if Junie keeps his head on straight he will be a great fighter with all his potential.

And on a side note, great job by Cole wearing the Tapout "Mask" shirt.

I dont know who gave Junie that game plan but going for take downs was just fucking stupid.

Played right into Cole's game.

Cole is a legit LW.

Junie isn't.

Cole has a solid future in the UFC. Junie doesn't, he can beat Dave Kaplan that's about it.

I think I was more impressed by Cole than unimpressed with Junie there. I knew Junie sucked but I didnt think Cole was all that great. That was really nice to see Junie get choked out though

Junie might have thrown 2 punches that fight. When Cole did close the distance Junie tried to take it down. Cole showed some good TDD defense and the best spot junie had was when Cole jumped for the kimura. When Junie did have the back he only had it for about 20 seconds before Cole spun out and got to his feet without any resistance by junie.

I was equally impressed with Cole as i was unimpressed with Junie.

(Maybe Junie should have been allowed to bring a shot glass to the cage with him?)

went down just as a thought....cole would frustrate junie with something, junie would get thrown off and make a mistake

Thought it was an unimpressive fight for both, but I'm glad Junie lost in a big way. Hopefully he'll lose his next match and get dropped by the UFC.

I didn't expect Junie to lose that quick, although I figured he would lose to Cole. I could tell that Cole Miller was getting into his head before they even fought. I think that Junie needed to lose a fight to make him see he isn't the baddest ass out there. His next fight will determine his fate in the UFC I believe. Good job to Cole Miller tonight!

Well the fight went pretty much the way I figured it would. I thought Junie looked good in his last fight, but I just think Cole is so much better than him. I thought Cole would come in and pick him apart standing and eventually take it to the ground and sub him pretty early. I'm so happy that Junie lost :)

Not the smartest move for Junie.

Anyone know what Cole shouted at him after the fight?

If the Sherdog pbp was correct then "Who's overrated now?"

Very true. Going anywhere near the ground game with Cole was just dumb on his part, but overall i was very happy to lose so quickly now hopefully everyone will see he was just a reality star not a true LW with UFC worthy talent.

Yet another example of MMA wisdom:

Don't judge a fighter by his performance against a scrub.

Think about that before you put money on Cain Velasquez against Herring. :D

Did people actually have Junie to win that fight?

I didn't think it'd be as easy as it was but I had Miller by sub all the way. Hopefully Junie will just go away now but somehow I doubt it...

The thing that was funny about the fight was Miller just seemed like the better fighter period. On the ground, in the clinch, or standing Cole was just better.

Junie has no business being in the UFC right now. He landed what one punch? The best thing he did was have Cole's back, but that was only because Cole gave it to him when he pulled him down with the kimura attempt. When cole wanted out it took him about 20 seconds to do so and he went right back to his feet.

Cole is a solid prospect I think this was more of a marketing excercise. Cole was on TUF5 which was a while back and Junie is fresh in peoples memory so a win of the currently bigger household name will get Cole noticed in the eyes of newcomers and casual fans.

I dunno if there will be a reaction to Cole requesting a fight right away against the winner of Fisher Uno. Will he get that fightt? or Will Joe Silva just say erm no we have other plans for those two.
