Damn, thanks for putting that up Aaron.
I'm shocked Catone kept going to the ground with Credueur. Tim was snatching the arms and legs quickly, Catone was never safe (especially in the first). I was impressed. BTW, we already knew this, but Tim's head movement is absolutely horrible haha.

You HAVE to watch the Rob Kimmons fight, his guillotine on Joe Vedepo was the sweetest I have ever seen.

wow your right man....that's crazy how Vedepo was trying to get out of it than all of a sudden his body goes limp like a noodle....cool shit

Credeur looked like a completely different fighter to how he did on the show. This time he actually attempted subs. Good showing. His stiking still sucks though.
The Kimmons guillotine was great. It makes a nice change to see a standing choke to the usual one you see from full guard as someone attempts a takedown.

This fights a great example of the discussion going on in the general mma discussion.
Although the damage wasn't serious, I think we can all agree that Catone did more damage in the first round, but it's pretty obvious (I hope) that Tim won that first round. At least that's how I feel.
But damn, that was some slick BJJ, but I don't think Tim would be able to pull any of that off against guys with better BJJ than Catone.
Dude needs to learn to not leave his head open otherwise he's going to get KOed by someone who is a) a striker or b) has power. Still, that was sick display of BJJ and well done to him. Poor bbjd7 XD.

i was really impressed with credeur's guard, i underestimated his bjj a lot. that transition from the leg lock to sinking in that guillotine was nasty. i really hope he works on his head movement, he's going to end up getting dropped soon if he keeps his head out like that

His whole striking game needs serious work.
His stand-up makes me want to vomit.

true story, his lack of head movement really bothered me in his last fight, he was definitely loosing the stand up in the 2nd round before cantone took him down

And why does Joe keep saying Tim has good striking?? Wtf?

Tim definitely impressed me with his guard, he never showed skills like that before, so he must have been working diligently on the ground for this fight.
Catone fought a stupid fight if you ask me, he was decisively winning the stand-up and Credeur looks like he has never had a boxing lesson in his life. The guy drops his hand after throwing the jab instead of bringing his punches straight back to his chin, he leaves his chin right out there, and he utilizes absolutely zero head movement. I'm telling you, the next opponent he fights will knock him out if they keep the fight standing.
Good showing from Tim though, tough luck for Catone (and bbjd lol).

I honestly don't know. lol!
Joe seems to exaggerate a lot of guy's stand-up skills. Maybe he's just trying to be supportive.

Catone clearly has a lot of skills and he was just a bit outmatched on the ground but whoever in his corner needs to feel responsible for this loss.
Nick should've stayed on his feet and outstruck Tim he did a good job on the ground in round 2 until the leg lock sweep and nasty finish.
You know for a guy who works with Dan Miller I would guess his leg lock defense would be better.
Catone IMO lost round 1 but this wasn't really a bad showing for him as much as it was a fantastic performance by Tim. If that comes off as me being a nuthugger o well because I still think Nick has a bright future.

Man he was throwing up sub attempts one after the other. I agree with everyone else his striking really sucks but hopefully he will work on it because I wouldnt mind seeing him again
