It sucks ass, there hasn't been an exceptional grappling match at LW in a while because all the wrestlers would rather use BJJ defensively or not at all. A great wrestler who works on passing and subs would be a rarity to that division, hopefully someone like Efrain Escudero can try to fill that role.

That's actually a good idea lol. I usually need inspiration from the forum for a subject to write about.. I think my next piece is going to be on the trend of lightweight wrestlers to focus on their striking instead of their submissions and passes, and how if one of those guys is smart, he'll try using his wrestling in conjunction with his BJJ to separate himself from the pack. Gray, Sherk, Tyson, and Frankie (to a lesser extent) are turning into the same style of fighter

Ahh, I think I was looking I was looking at favourite fighter ever, because it's definitely the one you ran that was down to the Sweet 16. It contained all the weight classes and names from all over time, so I figured it could be a shrink GP with people voting, but it being about who people like best makes sense too.
