So i mentioned putting together a GP for fighters who were aways away from a title shot and I think i got it figured it out.

It shall be an epic 16 man tourney taking place over 4 events and the winner after all 4 rounds will be taking on the CPL champion the following event for the CPL title.

I decided to base my selections of competitors on records (.500 or below), minimum number of fights, And last appearance. And without further ado here are the fighters invited into this epic 16 man Tourney.

If some of these fighters choose not to participate i will look to find replacements.

So if your name is on the list and you'd like to enter into this GP then please say so here or PM me.

Edit: I'd like to have the first round of the GP picking the TUF finale on june 19th, but if no one wants that i can move the first round to UFC 116 (July 3rd).

Also the red font for some fighters in the list are there to show which 8 fighters signed up first. If for some reason i can't fill out the 16 man field, the GP will be back to an 8 man, and those in red will be the competitors.

Depending on interest and how quickly people responded i think i could get it together for 115, but 116 would be a much safer bet.

Unless of course people wanted to do the TUF finale then that would be the opening round.

Sorry buddy, you met really none of the categories for this particular GP.

However depending on how this goes i'd really like to put together another GP that focuses on younger more inexperienced fighters, and gives them a launching pad to the title shot.

Edit: Why are those events not good for you MKZ?

Away for two months and I'm missing these two events, and there's a big chance I'll have little to none access to internet. But if something I could send picks before I go or after the official cards are announced.

Hmmm..

Unfortunately the GP would deff be going on for one of those events. And most likely both.

So i guess your choices are the following

1) Enter the GP and if you advance to a point where your still in the GP for the said events. Then hope you can get the finalized cards early and send them into me or face the possible consequences of an auto loss if you dont get them in.

2) Don't enter the tourney. And i'll look to find another person who's interested. Or depending on who else is interested or not, hope i can knock off 7 more people so i can have a 8 man GP. lol
