Kind of surprised by the outcome, what are your thoughts?

Surprising, but Braulio is a beast in his own right, second in U-99kg in 2007 ADCCs, so not THAT surprising in the grand scheme of things. Isn't he supposed to be debuting in MMA sometime this year too?

WOW, didn't expect that to happen. Marcelo is like top 3 in the world, but it isn't the first time he's been caught in a triangle, Terere.

Not all that suprised it's hard for Marcelo to win Absolute division guys too small and Braulio is a very good grappler.

Marcelo losing to his teammate in the final at his weightclass would be more suprising but then again they weren't really trying.

People get caught. No biggie, it still doesn't diminish his accomplishments at all. Its already been stated too, Braulio is no joke. Marcelo is amazing, but hes not invincible. Still in my eyes, the #1 grappler in the world.

Honestly if Braulio subbed Roger then be shocked but Braulio over Marcelo isn't a huge shocker.

But Superman I wouldn't call it getting caught. Braulio was the better man and his triangle is just nasty he caught Carreco in it.

I'm not shocked at the fact Braulio won, I'm shocked at the fact Marcelo did not even put up a fight to get out of that triangle.

Miles Braulio's triangle is really powerful at least that's what it seems like because guys tap quick after being in it 2007 ADCC Carreco tapped quick in a triangle and honestly I'm not shocked that Marcelo couldn't break Braulio's grip.

I don't doubt the power of his triangle, it just didn't look like Marcelo really tried to resist the lapel grip in the slightest. It wasn't the fastest triangle I've ever seen, I would just have imagined more of a fight from Marcelo.
