Money gets refunded and comes out as a wash. For the 1% of fights that end up that way I think you're turning it into a far bigger problem than it would actually be.

considering the fighters are assigned randomly, if a draw or NC happens I dont think its really unfair at all.. its part of the random factor

id be more concerned about getting 5 losers than hitting a draw or NC

I dig the idea, its quite similar to battle for bloodshed though, ya putting certain weight on certain outcomes.
