What do you mean by flair? Spain played a very similar game to the one they have for the last few years now. I'm not sure why you would expect it to be that different, especially with Villa missing.

Well when you're labeled the "greatest team of all time" you better be ready to wow the ever loving shit out of everyone.

Spain doesn't have "flair", they're just REALLY fucking good at playing fundamental football. Its crazy to think that in this day and age the secret to winning a bunch of titles is to just string a bunch of passes together and be in the right place, and frankly people don't want to settle with that, or better yet watch that. They want something with flavour like old Brazil.

I think people are just sick of Spain winning and want to pick at them for no particular reason.

Italy game - first game of the tournament and typically very cagey affairs no matter who ya play.

Ireland - Wiped the floor with them

Croatia - Spain had to secure a draw so they played a strategic game that wasn't so pretty.

France - That game was just as much France fault as anything, they pretty much gave up and showed very little in the middle of the park for Spain to really have to do anything other than pass.

Portugal - Rival game and was always gonna be tough, Spain were all over them like a bad rash, Portugal were very much hanging on at the end.

Italy - Masterclass.

Spain play a similar style of football to the 1970 Brazil side. Better defensively and with less pace in attack, but it's still a possession based game, building attacks from the back, involving the entire team, etc. They're also playing against better opposition on the whole. There generally aren't weak teams at tournaments like there were in those days.

Three major tournaments in a row, particularly as a European team, is what wows the ever loving shit out of me.

big moves, Park moving from Man Utd to QPR is big for them.

Sigurdsson has gone to Spurs and they've also signed Vertonghen from Ajax. Pretty good replacement for Ledley King. Spurs need a striker though, that's what they're missing.
