FLD Fantasy Football Draft, Setup, and Rules discussion
So we finally have a complete 8 man league and now we need to setup a time for a draft and go over basic rules, and scheduling.
Now week 2's first game is Sunday, so really anytime this week would probably work for the draft. As for the scheduling i want to have the championship game on week 16 just so we're no as effected by the stars who sit out week 17 to prepare for the playoffs. And right now i have the top 4 teams making the playoffs. with single elimination and thus it will only last 2 weeks and will begin week 16. So what do you guys think, particularly on a draft time?

I did a 12 person snake draft with about 4 auto drafters (guys didn't show up so computer did it for them) and it took about an hour and half.
So between an hour to an hour 15 prob. Edit: Actually i think the 12 person draft only took like 1 hour 15 minutes. So we can prob do it in about an hour.

If you do it yourself you'll still be able to see the rankings and pick who ESPN has ranked as the top guys. And if you do it yourself it will allow you to maybe add depth to a position like RB (pretty much the top fantasy spot) if someone falls in the draft even if you already have a RB. Where as an autodraft wouldn't necessarily take that extra RB and would instead fill another need on the team even if it was a position like TE which is one of the easier positions to fill. So yeah i'd recommend doing it yourself. Worse case scenario you could just pick the top ranked guys at each position and it would be the same as the autodraft would have done.
