Thumbs down Forecasts

this isnt a complaint, cuz i know peeps dont get paid for doing the forecasts so i dont expect anyone to follow a deadline-ish routine. BUT i must admit it would be cool if the forecasts could be up a couple of days before the events ( a week or so ) cuz they give the opportunity to discuss ALL the fights on a card in ONE thread . And yes i know about the official threads but they just arent the same.

again, not angry or anything over here, just a shout out

I do agree. I see justification for posting Forecasts a couple of days before the event (to not sway CPL, for example), but the morning of the event is really just too late. Also, everything you said N1.

Well to be fair, they wait to see my picks and go the other way with it.

I usually make forecast threads in the writer's section a week or so before the event and I ask for submissions generally a few days before the event actually happens. I post the article as soon as everyone's picks are in.

Unfortunately, real life has been a bit distracting for me lately, so I haven't been ontop of making the threads (which is why we missed the last two event forecasts) and the other guys have been busy as well. I'll try to chase everyone around more for their submissions, but at the end of the day, I can't force contribution.

Thanks for your concern towards the forecasts though guys, I will do my best to resolve this issue.

Mostly what Miles said about real life getting in the way. I haven't had much of a chance to be on the forum for any length of time to post, let alone actually think and write coherently lately.

And this is something we as writers had discussed a while ago, and were doing pretty well on prior to everyone just getting busy as all hell, so hopefully we can get back to that.
