Awesome idea on a book club! I am thinking of re-reading the Dark Tower series in anticipation of the movies/TV series they are doing. I sure hope they try and stick to the books because they have the chance to be LOTR-like if they do. Sometimes King adaptations suck though.
What is everyone's favorite book in the series? Its been quite a few years since I read them all but just remembering I think I enjoyed Wizard and Glass the best in the series.

Read The Gunslinger and thought it was one of the most atrociously written bits of tosh. A pity as I really liked the idea of the series.

Read gunslinger liked it, got halfway through the next one and mostly just lost interest. Can't remember if it was due to being busy or just not caring for it. I own all of them, they were all given to me so will give them another go I suppose.
Actually really excited I've been without my books for almost 2 years they were in my parents basement and never had a chance to get them, they drove to FL a few weeks ago for a trip and brought them =) |
