I think you'd be surprised how many seats Lin can sell. I saw Lin play at MSG and at least half the arena was Asian. Everywhere Lin went they Asian community was behind him.

Of course I could be wrong but I don't think the Rockets will be good unless they are able to land Howard or Bynum & bad teams usually don't sell out

He'll help revenues no matter how you spin it. Maybe not sell out every night, but I'd be willing to bet at least double what attendance would normally be if we had outright tanked without Lin.

And it doesn't just go to selling seats. Selling jerseys (you can bet you'll be seeing a lot more people wearing Lin rockets jerseys) and just keeping the city of Houston interested in basketball which will help the Rockets stay afloat during these down times.

And Lin created a craze in NY, so there's no reason he can't create at least half that in Houston, which would still be a big boom for us.
