Agreed. Akiyama seemed so concerned with avoiding takedowns and not gassing out that he forgot he needed to throw strikes to win the fight. Usually he is more than willing to throw bombs but he had like zero bursts in this fight.

In the post fight interview with Rogan, he seemed to think the end of the 3rd was where he lost it. He was shutting Jake down for the most part, but he didn't do anything of his own.
