My memorial video will be completed soon...and Jens the Budgie will receive his water burrial in nidd gorge on Monday.

meanwhile if I'm absent tommorow its not just that im in mourning, its that I am off to do the fifteen mile nidderdale charity walk for The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, and Anxiety UK.

If any of you sponsored me through the online thingy I posted in a thread about a month ago, thank you.

Did the coroner determine the cause of death yet?

The good thing about funerals and weddings....you're guaranteed to get laid.

This, we must get to the bottom of this tragic event.

Jens the Budgie is well known by the avian vets, harcourt-brown. I WAS offered a post mortem.

But they are a tad costly...and whats the point...we knew that if he recovered it was another chest infection and if he died it was cancer...do we really need to cut up his lungs to find the lump.

If he died in suspicious circumstances, or suddenly, then damn right I would have had a post mortem...but he's been ill for the last two weeks solidly, and last three months on and off.

I miss him

It might not be suspicious since he fell ill, but have you considered he was poisoned to a slow death. I remember reading Norman Mailer's Harlot's Ghost and it was not uncommon for Soviet agents to slowly poison their adversaries to avoid suspicion. Are you aware of any enemies that could/might have harmed Jens?
