I have a feeling after signing that 10 year contract and the max Quick is gonna turn out like DiPietro.

Ya I will definetly agree with this.

And don't think that I am a flames fan because I live in Calgary. But I do appreciate the work kipper puts in.

Seeing some rumors that Detroit is big in the running for nash. Not really stoked on that at all.

Two positive things for the Flyers today Rick Nash doesn't want to come here & Suter is probably going to the Wings I'd rather save the $$ for next year & get Weber

So you'll prolly call the Red Wings, Flyers West then since they don't want to go to Philly.

I'm loving the gritty depth the Habs are adding to the team so far. We won't be as soft anymore and with Moen, White & Prust in the line up, Cheapshotters will have someone to answer to.

Seriously the Habs are looking really good. I have a feeling we'll be cup contenders within 4-5 years. Great veterans to lead the good prospects coming up and core pieces locked up longterm (Or very close to)

Beauty.

I know its been like a week, but Suter and Parise can both get fucked for not signing with the mighty wings.

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed defenceman Shea Weber to a 14-year offer sheet worth upwards of $100 million.

The Nashville Predators have seven days to match the offer if they wish to retain Weber's services.

The 26-year-old remained a restricted free agent after failing to come to an agreement with the Predators when his one-year $7.5 million deal awarded through arbitration, expired after the season.

Compensation in the form of draft picks for the Predators should they choose not to match the Flyers offer is tied to the average per year cap hit of the offer sheet. It is expected the Predators would receive either four first round draft picks or two first round picks, one second and one third from the Flyers.

The native of Sicamous, BC is coming off back-to-back first team NHL All-Star selections. He finished 2011-12 with 19 goals and 49 points.

The captain of the Predators has spent seven seasons in Nashville, recording 99 goals and 263 points in 480 career NHL games.

Nashville has to match this after losing Suter. The 4 picks they get back won't be worth it, they will all be in the mid to late twenty's most likely if Weber were to go there.
