That is a particular favourite of mine...its taken from the Orthodox Church...most people forget their are THREE streams of Christianity...they think Roman and Protestant...but their is also Orthodox....and the Roman and Protestant Masses are basically the same...whereas the Orthodox Church has entirely different liturgy.

We have what is called a "Sanctus" well...the Orthodox Church have a "Cherubic Song" they are both elluding to the same thing of course. They both basically repeat what the Cherubs in Heaven sing...but the Orthodox make a HUGE thing out of this particular litergy...whereas the rest of Christondom dont really give it but a passing mention.

Or their is music inspired by the literny. Litergy equals direct portion of biblical Scripture, Literny equals prayers based on biblical scriptures. The most famous are all Roman Catholic, things like the Requiem, Via Delarosa, The Angelus (which encorperates the infamous Hail Mary blah) or the Regina Ceoli...my favourite their is the Stabat Mater...which is poetry for Easter based on poor Mary watching the passion.



Or I suppose their might be oporatic type music encorperated into some of the orchestral music I like, mostly film scores, or those who frequently compose them, including Hans Zimmer, who likes to often work with Lisa Gerard
