The only live event I've ever been to was fun but definitley had some issues. The fighters were all fat cans, I seriously probably could have kicked about 90 percent of their asses, and I've never trained a day of mma in my life. Also, here was no ground action the entire card. As a matter of fact, if a fighter even hit the ground the stop happy ref would end the fight.

Oh well, I was shitfaced so I had fun, but prolly wouldn't spend the 20 dollar price of admission if I had the choice again.

I will be going to see UFC 101 in Portland though, I can't wait for that. I wish there was more proper mma in this area, because this was definitely amatuer hour.

Wow I thought I was the only person to witness a fight in the crowd. Besides that I was at a KOTC event and these drunk dorks were booing and talking general smack to all the fighters. Anyway justice was served when they're boy fought, he laid down about 2 minutes into round one and refused to get up. Needless to say they quickly left after the ref called the match.

Its hard not to correct people when they are saying stuff about the fighters that is totally incorrect. I dont want to seem like a jerk and just jump into conversations and correct them but its hard to hold back

I've only been to 4 local events as they are rare the thing at really annoyed me about the guy behind me was when a Finnish fighter was walking to the cage and this idiot shout Tor Andre Flo hur hur..

First off Tor Andre Flo was Norwegian secondly even if he was Finnish when was it funny to shout out names of a fighters fellow countrymen. That was 2 and a half years ago and I cant let it go.

Apparently at one event I went to there was brawls all over the shop but I was too hungover to notice. Also folk were snorting coke in the toilets at half 2 on a sunday afternoon

I've never been to a live MMA event but I am hoping to possibly go to the one in Portland if I have the money.

I have been to live college football and basketball games though. I have been to a few Duck football games and only one Duck basketball games and had a blast. At one of the the football games I was shown on the scoreboard.

I have never been to a live event, but i deal with the same issues at the local bar.

You never want to jump in a convo like a D-bag. It's just too hard sometimes because people are just talking out their ass so badly. I feel the need to set them straight.

When I watch fights with my friends they say stupid sh*t that they are totally uninformed about and sometimes I snap at them.

Everything. I just hate live events in general. this includes concerts too (to an extent, Depeche Modes concert was SICK).

I'm a big detail freak, so I love seeing replays, and being able to hear the commentary and all that. Hell, I don't even like going to bars to watch the fights.

Plus, like everyone mentioned, I don't like all the casual people there. I tend to sometimes only invite friends of mine who actually like MMA, when I host anything.

Damn, I'm an elitist.

Yea, I would say typically I wouldn't enjoy it as much, but like 3 guys I knew were fighting in it, so it was exciting. All 3 won as well
