Satoshi Ishii is currently making his final preparations for his debut in Hawaii. Him, several trainers, and his sworn friend Phil Baroni are having a training camp there. He looks to be in great shape but we’ll see how he handles the first fight.

Some information from Tanigawa’s twitter:

Hong Man Choi or Bob Sapp will probably not participate on NYE.

There will be 3-5 more fights for the Dynamite!! card. Three are already signed and 1 or 2 besides those could be added.

Someone wrote to him that he’s waiting for Manhoef vs. Misaki and Tanigawa answered: “Manhoef is waiting as well”.

About Arlovski: “He will probably face Alistair next year. Is he angry that he didn’t get a fight on NYE? I wonder if contacting him will not go smoothly…”

Yeah that was one of the fights I listed when dreaming up great Dream vs WVR fights they could do and it would be awesome to watch. I really, really hope they get Tatsuya involved.

Five Ounces of Pain is also reporting that Misaki/Manhoef is set.

Sakuraba might not participate

Awesome news on Misaki/ Manhoef, but sucks Saku probably won't be fighting. I mean with Saku and Minowa on the same card there was a very real possibility of two nasty leg lock finishes in one night.

Well at least I get to see Tatsuya. It may not be against Aoki for the title but it should be a fun fight. They should really add Saku against a pro-wrestler or boxer or something again just to get him on the card. No one cares who he fights anymore but we just want to see him out there. Whats the deal with the K-1 bouts though? There were lots of K-1 guys rumored to be on the card but so far we only have 2 fights?? (I am not counting the Koshien).

I gotta be honest though, at first I thought this card just wasnt going to come together very well (call it pessimism after all the disappointing injury news and such) but if all the announced bouts happen, this could be one of the greatest cards ever! There are so many great freakin matches here and so many of my favorite fighters are competing. Man I cant wait!!!

Why do you want Gegard getting beat up?

He can beat Tex. He's not beating a guy like Spong or Ghita and Ghita would probably fuck up Mousasi's legs and keep him out of MMA for awhile.
