As fans that follow MMA news we have heard it many times before: “The flyweight division will be here soon.” Most recently, at the UFC 122 presser when asked about a possible 125lb division, Dana White responded by saying “I believe we’ll add it a lot sooner than people think we will.” However, whether this means the first quarter of 2011, or sometime in 2015 is anybody’s guess.
Tomorrow afternoon UFC 122 will take place in Germany, but unfortunately we will have to wait for the tape delayed version at 10pm on SPIKETV. Recently, Jamie Hughes had the chance to sit down with a true legend of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, and one of the few figures in the sport to be included in FightLockdown.com’s MMA Hall of Fame.
